Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, enquiry category and message. You are not legally required to submit the enquiry form. If you choose to submit it, your name, email address, enquiry category and message are required to process your online submission and respond to your request. Farm/company, phone number and country are optional. You may also provide livestock type, farm scale and information about your existing systems or records.
We also receive relevant enquiry context, such as the offer or page that led you to contact us, and technical request information such as IP address and browser details. Please provide only information needed for your enquiry.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry information to answer your questions, understand your requirements, discuss our services and manage related follow-up. Our legal basis for general business enquiries is legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f): responding to people who contact us and managing those business conversations.
Where processing is necessary to take steps you personally request towards a contract with us, Article 6(1)(b) applies. We also process necessary technical information to operate and protect the website on the basis of legitimate interests. RanchPal uses Formspree, Inc. to process and store website enquiries and deliver notifications to our team. Our email and website-hosting service providers also handle information needed to provide their services. We may disclose information to competent authorities where required by law.
International transfers
Our service providers may process personal information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Formspree hosts its service in the United States and states that it relies on European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses as a processor.

How long we keep information
Enquiry information is retained only for as long as needed to respond to and follow up your request, manage a resulting business relationship, or meet applicable legal or legal-claims requirements.
